Sincerely Low Stance

Who is Low Stance?

I am an art student at KASK Ghent. I do 'Media Arts' which is a branch of the liberal arts. I mainly do things with cooking since I am a trained cook and love making people happy with food. I do this in the liberal arts because I want to re-discover what food is for me and what it could be for other people. Think of re-appreciating food by focusing on a specific taste or element, doing things with the sound of food, social interactions that come with a meal, etc.

Besides loving food and cooking it I am also a musician. I produce and sing mainly Hip-Hop under the name Low Stance. I have been doing this for around 6 years, actively for around 2-3 years. I work a lot with people from Ghent like Tabot, Flashback, Rych and more. We are trying to find a new sound for Ghent. A sound that the urban people from Ghent (and of course people outside Ghent) can identify with and vibe to.
I also love sound in general. It's a fascinating thing sound. Its all around us but a lot of the times we don't realise what sounds are around us or that we experience on the daily. I like to play around with these things.

I also do different things on the side that are mainly for school but are still in my interests. Like making masks, writing artistic texts and much more!

As an artist in the making I am still discovering what kind of art I want to make so I will try to update this page every now and then so people can see my growing proces and grow with me. Accompany me on my journey!
